Señor Grubby’s started in 2008 by a group of local guys looking to put a twist on the local Mexican fair. After numerous trips to Mexico and local Mexican & American breakfast spots they noticed missing elements that they wanted to highlight.

For Christmas break I went down to SD and had pretty much a horrible time. I’m not sure if it’s because the mood I already was in or what, but every restaurant, store, or place in general, everyone was being stuck up or just jerks in general. Grubby’s was the last place I stopped before leaving and it was by far the best part of the trip. ALL the people working there were friendly, fun, excited, and happy to be at work. The food was great, and the prices were very reasonable. I love that the restaurant was not “cheap,” and by cheap I mean trying to rip anyone off. It was great service and food. I would highly recommend Grubby’s!!!!!
Great food as usual. My wife and I make it a point to come in at least once a week.
